We Love Vic West (& Esquimalt too)!

We love being a part of the Vic West Community and enjoy many connections around our Neighbourhood, including the Vic West Community Association. It is our desire to love our neighbours and to serve our community well.

Current Connections & Initiatives

Neighbourhood Celebrations (Gorge Swim Fest, Vic West Fest,  Vic West Corn Roast etc.)

Over the years, High Point has been privileged to be involved in various annual community celebrations. Whether we are decorating cookies, scooping ice cream, cooking corn, or picking up garbage we thoroughly enjoy the opportunity to party with our community.

Community Center Programming (Breakfast with Santa & Bunny Bonanza)

The Vic West Community Center has been a valued partner for High Point for many years. Two of our favorite projects to partner on are the annual Breakfast with Santa & the annual Bunny Bonanza. In the past, we have helped with the craft room, and we look forward to many more opportunities down the road.

Blessings Box

Ever wonder what the little red box in front of our Church is for? This is our “Blessings Box” & we hope that this little box can be used to bless many in our community. Here’s how it works:

1) Leave what you can: Do you have extra non-perishable food items? Do you have a little spare change that you can use to buy some canned goods or hygiene items? Bring these items and place them in the box.
**Non-Perishable food & hygiene items only please.

2) Take what you need:  Do you see something in the box that you could use? It’s yours! Take it home and be blessed. Simple as that 🙂

Our “Blessings Box” full of blessings for our neighbours!
Community Movie Nights

Every so often we host a “Community Movie Night” in our sanctuary. Join us for free pizza and popcorn, and enjoy a family friendly movie together with your neighbours.
