Sitting in Silence
How can we sit and do nothing when so many in our world are hurting, crying and in so many cases dying. How can we do nothing?
That is the theme of Tasha’s latest song which we used in a prayer time focusing in on putting an end to the modern-day slave trade of our world.

I don’t usually read the Globe and Mail but a friend pointed me in the direction of this excellent article discussing some of what the Salvation Army is doing in Vancouver to combat Human Trafficking. Worth a read. [Click Here]

It seems to be time that we do something about this international problem as it relates to our city right here in Victoria. After all there is a brothel right near us as well as a couple of major hubs for prostitution in the the downtown core.
