Let’s be honest, some Christians have missed the point. They have gone off the deep end in terms of their understanding of the Bible. They have taken the fun out of fundamental. They have replaced the love that God offers us with hate, with judgement and with fear.

But you know what? That has been happening for a long time. That’s why Paul, an early Christian-hater turned missionary wrote a letter to the Corinthian Church trying to help them get back on track.

The Corinthians had gone wild, doing all sorts of crazy things. And Paul’s letter addresses some of that. That’s why for the summer as a church we’ll be looking in on some of the teaching found in the book of 1 Corinthians. Learning from these Christians who had gone wild.
